My sympathies, my heart go out to everyone who knew Aaron.
Memo to Carmen Ortiz (head of the US Attorney's Office in MA) and Stephen Heymann, the Assistant US Attorney doing the prosecuting: the "victim" of this case wasn't pressing charges, much less interested in criminal prosecution for what should have been a civil offense. "Prosecutorial discretion" must involve discretion. I don't know what sort of reward is worth hounding a young man to his death, but I hope you have it now... because this error in judgement and discretion will torpedo any aspirations you might have to elected offices. The Internet never forgets...
