"Do we need flashlights?" Um, no.
The Moon is going through the Earth's shadow. It's going to get dark there, not here on Earth - here's not even going to get as dark as a standard-issue new Moon night.
It's kinda funny, but I wince at basic science illiteracy. And where folks who watch Fox News are measurably more misinformed than folks who get their news from other sources, I kind of want to cry. Just a little.
