I need to sit on youtube for a bit... there are a bunch of things from F2C2012 that I need to see.
Vint Cerf's speech is mebbe a little more technical than I wanted for a Sunday morning (need moar coffee); listening to Eben Moglen was utterly amazing, really important (he talks about how to promote innovation under conditions of austerity - like the current regimen of not paying for infrastructure, not paying for education, not paying for health and wellbeing and dignity).Unfortunately, the clip is stalled at the beginning of the discussion (53:53) - so I have no idea what happens when three intelligent people start talking about this stuff... What happens is there's more things added to my list of important things to do, more things to look up, more worry, more hope, more inspiration.
(But now I need to get up and move around a bit. I feel like I've been sitting for hours, and I probably have!)
