You want a mini-bio? *sigh* Science geek with a mystical streak who's looking to live up to or even add to (at least some of) the myths about San Francisco bisexuals.... (some of the time, anyway - I do need my sleep. The little statuette in the safe-deposit box can only absorb so much "abuse”.....) // Career biologist looking to help solve the global warming/emissions problems and the coming crises through community - what do you know how to build, what do you know how to fix, what can you share?

Mini-bio. I hate this sort of thing... Science geek = professional: ~3 decades of biomedical research benchwork including way too much time as Safety Coordinator for a lab of about a dozen people (and about a decade of being the liaison between the lab and the folks who were the liaison between the whole campus and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission). Mystical streak = the empiricist counterpart to the day-job scientist, studies ranging from ecstatic to ceremonial flavors (having had externally validated and repeatable experiences that don't fit in the rational materialist paradigm changes one....). As for the rest of all of that... I think the statuette is crying “Uncle!” and the rest of it probably doesn’t need further explanation. Bonus points for (not so) gratuitous Bradbury reference....
