The Long Now folks are hosting another lecture: "Finessing the Anthropocene"; it looks pretty good... (wish they could get Brian Eno to come back on a regular basis!)

Meanwhile, I had a good belly-laugh in Green Apple yesterday when I found a surprising title in "The Idiot's Guide" series. The Idiot's Guide to Near-Death Experiences. I kid you not. (Calling the Darwin Awards folks...)
