Of course, MLK gave more than one speech. This is a good start, and the text for Beyond Vietnam is a must-read. "We must rapidly begin the shift from a thing-oriented society to a person-oriented society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights, are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, extreme materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered."
(Obviously not MLK) "The power of money" isn't supposed to mean jack-shit in a courtroom. Every advance in progressive jurisprudence for over a century has at least in part been about lessening the influence of "the power of money" over the judicial process.
