Integrity? I do not think that word means what you think it does...

Just for the record - there is no integrity to quashing legal protest. There is no integrity to silencing free speech. And there is no integrity whatsoever to arresting journalists with valid credentials, using force on nonviolent protesters, or destroying human dignity in the name of property "rights".

I hate to quibble, but these are not "legal" protests, which is part of the problem - occupy is leaving itself open to eviction and worse by its tactics. The camps ARE in violation of half-a-dozen statutes about use of public land. This is an illegal protest, just like climbing a private building to hang a sign is illegal despite free speech claims.

Mind you, the police actions are far more illegal, and I'm certainly not taking their side.

Good news though: the AFL-CIO are voting to treat all Occupy camps as official picket lines.
