I recall, way back when Speakeasy first got acquired by Best Buy, I predicted that their quality was going to take a nosedive. I'm a little surprised that it took so long to get this bad, actually.

Various folks responded to my my request for reviews with good things to say about Sonic.Net. They're local (based in Santa Rosa) and have good marks among the geeks I've talked to. When feyandstrange and I moved to Nelya Silmemar, I was going to switch my service to them (until it turned out the building's fiber-only nature meant our only options were AT&T and Comcast).
